History
Matt Miller and Samuel Morgenstein initiated their musical relationship back in Junior High School. But soon after, their paths diverged. While Matt pursued his love of world music (recording and cataloging field recordings in North Africa) and growing his career as a composer and sound designer, Samuel obtained his Masters of Music degree and worked in multiple continents as a freelance percussionist and sonic experimenter.
|
Twenty years later, they reunited and formed the laptop / percussion duo MiMo - performing their own minimalist compositions, driven by improvisation. Since then, they have forged a unique musical partnership, contributing to sample libraries for Big Fish Audio as well as for the hit iPhone App, Beatmaker.
MiMo Music, the soundware company, was established in January of 2008. After months of development, their efforts have culminated in the early 2009 release of their premiere library, Synare.
